A local firm is the recipient of Graphic Design USA magazine’s 2013 American Graphic Design Award. Northbrook-based atCommunications, LLC earned its third American Graphic Design Award since 1999 for a Web site it produced, along with Philadelphia, PA advertising agency Open Haus Studio, for health information management industry leader Precyse (www.PrecyseUniversity.com).

For five decades, the editors of Graphic Design USA have honored the outstanding work of creative professionals in the graphic arts community with their American Graphic Design Awards. This year, more than 8,000 entries were submitted by design firms, ad agencies, in-house corporate and institutional designers, publishers and others from across the United States, in 23 different categories from print and packaging to Internet and interactive design. Award winners will be featured in the 2013 American Graphic Design Annual, to be published later this year by Graphic Design USA magazine.
